DESCRIPTION
The AW3S is an AT Series™ heavy-duty, multi-pin thermoplastic connector designed for harsh industrial environments requiring superior environmental sealing and reliable electrical connections. It features IP68 and IP69K ratings in mated condition, supports mixed contact configurations (Size 12 and Size 16), and delivers current ratings of 25A (Size 12) and 13A (Size 16) at a maximum voltage of 250V. The connector incorporates an integrated latching system, thermoplastic UL94-VO housing with excellent UV resistance, silicone rubber seals, and copper alloy nickel-plated contacts, ensuring definitive mechanical and electrical connections across a wide operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. Its superior front and rear environmental seals, wedgeblock contact alignment, and compatibility with existing industry-standard products make it ideal for heavy-duty, transportation, marine, diagnostic, alternative energy, and agricultural interconnect architectures.
