DESCRIPTION

159-2801-250 is a 50-conductor round-to-flat jacketed ribbon cable designed for IDC termination applications. It features 28 AWG 7/36 tinned copper conductors with .010" gray PVC insulation with red edge marking, wrapped in .001" polyester tape spiral and enclosed in a .030" black PVC jacket. The cable offers an impedance of 95 Ohms, capacitance of 19 pF/ft at 1MHz, and a voltage rating of 300V with a current rating of 1.3A at 10°C rise above ambient. With an A span of 2.500" (63.50mm) nominal and B span of 2.450 ±0.015" (62.23±0.38mm), this cable is UL Listed Type CL2 and CSA Certified AWM FT-1, making it suitable for a wide range of electronic interconnect applications requiring reliable signal transmission.
