DESCRIPTION
PL18Y-501-95-2-5 is a PwrLok G2 straight plug connector designed for high-voltage power distribution in electric vehicle applications. It features an integrated HVIL (High Voltage Interlock Loop) system with a black color coding, supporting 95mm² cable with 300A power current rating and 1000 VDC operating voltage. The connector provides 360° full electromagnetic shielding, IP6K9K and IP67 protection when mated, and dielectric withstanding voltage of 5000 VDC between pin and metal shell. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C, a minimum of 100 mating cycles, and gray zinc/nickel plating rated for 500 hours salt spray resistance, this connector ensures reliable performance in demanding automotive environments. The latch system with CPA and UL94 V-0 rated insulation materials make it suitable for safety-critical EV battery and powertrain connections.
