DESCRIPTION
The 2CMA100591R1000 is a Critical & Safe mechanically interlocked receptacle designed for industrial applications requiring frequent connections and disconnections with enhanced safety features. It provides IP67 watertight or IP44 splashproof protection and operates at ratings from 20A to 100A with voltages ranging from 50 to 600 VAC, supporting dual certification at 16/20A, 30/32A, 60/63A, and 100/125A. The device features mechanical interlocks that prevent disconnecting a plug until the switch is turned off and prevent turning the switch on when a plug is not properly connected, offering an additional level of safety for personnel and equipment. The housing is constructed from Valox® material that withstands corrosion from most chemicals and abuse typical in industrial settings, with all external screws made of stainless steel. Common applications include heavy and chemical industries, sawmills, airports, and hospitals where robust, reliable power distribution with safety interlocks is essential.
