DESCRIPTION
C09100U0001202 is an M16 D variant of the signalmate® C091 family of circular DIN connectors designed for industrial applications requiring robust environmental protection and signal integrity. The connector features a metal screw coupling system with IP65/67/69K mating protection, thermoplastic dielectric material, and silver/gold contact plating to ensure reliable performance in harsh environments. It supports 2 through 8, 12, and 14 position configurations with current ratings of 10A for 2-3 positions, 7A for 5-8 positions, and 3A for 12-14 positions at +40°C. The connector offers excellent EMI shielding capability with solder and crimp termination options for wire gauges 18 through 28 AWG, achieving contact resistance below 5 mO and insulation resistance exceeding 10¹² O. With UL 94 V0 flammability rating and 720-hour salt spray corrosion resistance, this connector is ideal for measuring instruments, 4G/5G mobile radio networks, and other demanding industrial applications requiring high-integrity power and signal connections.
