DESCRIPTION
C14610B0720009 is a heavy mate® DD contact insert designed for industrial heavy-duty connector applications with 72 crimp contacts. This socket insert features crimp and PCB termination techniques, supporting wire gauges from 0.14 mm² to 2.5 mm² (AWG 26–14) with a maximum wire diameter of 3.7 mm. The insert is rated for 250 V (UL/CSA 600 V) with a rated current of 10 A at 40°C, an impulse withstand voltage of 4 kV, and operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The contact insert is constructed from polycarbonate (PC) material with grey coloring, brass contacts plated with silver or gold, and achieves an insulation resistance of =10¹° O and contact resistance of =5 mO. With over 500 mating cycles and IP20 protection rating when mated, this connector is ideal for demanding industrial applications including energy distribution, transportation, heavy equipment, and factory automation systems.
