DESCRIPTION
T3400018U is an M16 D circular DIN connector from Amphenol's signalmate® C091 family, designed for industrial applications requiring robust signal and power connections. The connector features a metal screw coupling system with thermoplastic dielectric material and silver/gold contact plating, supporting 2 through 8, 12, and 14 position configurations. It provides IP65/67/69K environmental protection when mated, operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C, and supports operating voltages up to 300V per IEC 60664-1 standard. The M16 D variant includes 360° shielding capability for excellent EMI protection, with contact resistance below 5 mO and insulation resistance exceeding 10¹² O. This connector is ideal for measuring instruments, industrial equipment, and 4G/5G mobile radio network applications where reliable environmental sealing and signal integrity are critical.
