DESCRIPTION
T3402000 is an M16 D circular DIN connector from Amphenol's signalmate® C091 family, designed for industrial applications requiring robust signal and power connections. This connector features a metal screw coupling system with thermoplastic dielectric material and silver/gold contact plating, supporting 2 through 8, 12, and 14 position configurations. It offers IP65/67/69K environmental protection when mated, excellent EMI shielding capability with 360° shielding option, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C. The connector supports solder and crimp termination options with wire gauges from 18 to 28 AWG, delivering contact resistance below 5 mO and insulation resistance exceeding 10¹² O. With 720 hours of salt spray corrosion resistance and UL 94 V0 flammability rating, this connector is ideal for measuring instruments, 4G/5G mobile radio networks, and other demanding industrial environments where environmental sealing and signal integrity are critical.
