DESCRIPTION
T3402400 is an M16 D circular DIN connector from Amphenol's signalmate® C091 family, designed for industrial signal and power connections with robust environmental protection. The connector features a metal screw coupling system, thermoplastic dielectric material, and silver/gold plated contacts that support solder and crimp terminations for wire gauges from 18 to 28 AWG. It offers IP65/67/69K ingress protection when mated, excellent EMI shielding capability with 360° shielding option, and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +100°C. The connector supports contact resistance below 5 mO, insulation resistance exceeding 10¹² O, and demonstrates superior corrosion resistance with 720 hours salt spray rating per industry standards. Common applications include measuring instruments, equipment, and 4G/5G mobile radio networks where environmental sealing and signal integrity are critical.
