DESCRIPTION

3-6055P1-BK is an SB®50 Environmental Boot designed for source-side connectors without an integral cover. This soft shell boot provides water, dirt, chemical and UV protection for SB®50 connectors, achieving IP64 environmental protection in both mated and unmated conditions. The boot is constructed from TPE material with a flammability rating of UL94 V0 and features UV and ozone resistance. Key dimensions include 5.9 inches (151.4 mm) length (A), 1.8 inches (45.1 mm) width (B), and 6.3 inches (160 mm) height (C) when mated. The boot supports wire sizes from 16 to 6 AWG (1.3 to 13.3 mm²) and operates over a temperature range of -40°F to 275°F (-40°C to 135°C), with a mating cycle rating of 1,500 cycles. Ideal applications include generators, industrial trucks, bus and coach, road construction, road maintenance, off-road, farm and agriculture equipment.
