DESCRIPTION
The LT1332D is a panel mount miniature trackball that utilizes advanced laser navigation technology in a sealed, contactless device for precise and accurate cursor control. It features a 12.7 mm phenolic polyester epoxy resin ball with a tracking force of 10 g nominal (damper ring) or 10-30 g (silicone rubber seal), capable of resolving ball speeds up to 30 inches per second. The device offers IP68 sealing capability, operates over a temperature range of 0°C to +55°C, and supports multiple output protocols including USB, PS/2, and SUN Systems with a supply voltage of 4.4V to 5.25VDC. With a mechanical lifetime of 1 million ball revolutions and MTBF exceeding 100,000 hours, the LT1332D is designed for medical systems, marine systems, custom keyboard applications, and industrial consoles where reliable performance under harsh conditions is essential.
