DESCRIPTION

02965019 is an automotive low voltage connector component from Aptiv's APEX series designed for vehicle electrical architecture applications. The terminal features a two-piece box and blade construction with an integrated floating spring made of beryllium copper or copper nickel silicon, utilizing a tangless/lanceless locking mechanism. It supports wire gauge ranges of 22-16 AWG (0.35-1.5 mm²) with a 1.5 mm blade size, and offers multiple sealing options including unsealed, mat sealed, and cable sealed configurations. The terminal provides heavy-duty performance with contact resistance less than 0.5 mO, contact mating force less than 5 N, and maximum current rating of 18 A at temperatures up to 150°C. Available in both female and male genders with tin (Sn) or gold (Au) plating options, this connector is suitable for demanding automotive applications requiring high reliability and vibration resistance up to 30 G.
