DESCRIPTION

The 12059472 is a red cavity plug used with the CTS 2.8 Sealed Series connector system. Its purpose is to seal any unused terminal cavities, thereby maintaining the environmental integrity and IP6K9K protection rating of the connector assembly. This is critical for applications exposed to harsh conditions, such as on-engine sensors, as it prevents the ingress of dust and moisture. This plug is designed for simple insertion and does not use a restraint ring.
