DESCRIPTION

The 15489820 is a sealed 4-cavity 2.8 mm male connector from the APEX® 2.8 Sealed 10W series designed for heavy-duty automotive inline and device applications. It features a fully protected interface seal with mechanical polarization and Primary Lock Reinforcement (PLR) to ensure secure mating and environmental protection. The connector accommodates wire sizes from 0.75 mm² (20 AWG) to 4 mm² (10 AWG) and maintains a 5.25 mm centerline spacing between cavities. It operates across a temperature range of -40 °C to +150 °C and withstands 12 g vibration, meeting or exceeding USCAR performance standards and GMW3191 specifications. This compact design is ideal for sealed inline connections in automotive systems requiring reliable, corrosion-resistant performance.
