DESCRIPTION
The ATA02CC18-L is an 8-watt isolated DC-DC converter from Advanced Energy's Artesyn ATA series, designed for low-power applications in data communication, telecommunications, industrial automation, and mobile battery-powered systems. It features dual symmetric ±15V outputs with 265 mA output current per rail, an input voltage range of 9-36 VDC, and achieves 86% efficiency at 24 VDC operation. The module provides 1500 VDC input-to-output isolation with 1000 MO insulation resistance, operates across -40°C to +80°C, and includes protection features such as hiccup-mode overload and short-circuit protection at 150% of maximum output current. The ultra-compact 23.8 × 13.7 × 8.0 mm DIP package with through-hole mounting, combined with its wide 4:1 input range and low output noise of 55 mV, makes it suitable for space-constrained applications requiring reliable isolated power delivery.
