DESCRIPTION
The AXA02A18-LHS is a 10 W isolated DC-DC converter from Artesyn's AXA series, designed for high-reliability applications requiring wide input voltage range operation. It features an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range of 9–36 Vdc, delivering a regulated 5 V output at up to 2 A with 84% efficiency. The converter is fully encapsulated in a compact 1.0 × 1.0 × 0.4 inch metal case with an isolated baseplate, incorporating 1,500 Vdc input/output isolation and hiccup mode short-circuit protection. Operating reliably across -40°C to +80°C, with remote On/Off control and switching frequency of 450 kHz, this converter is ideal for semiconductor equipment, industrial control, telecommunications, and data center applications where compact size and high isolation are essential.
