DESCRIPTION
The AYA00A05-L is a 2-watt isolated DC-DC converter from Artesyn's AYA series, designed for low-power applications including data communication, telecommunication, computer peripheral equipment, and industrial automation. It accepts an input voltage range of 4.5–10 Vdc and delivers a regulated 5 Vdc output at 0.4 A with 81% efficiency. The converter features excellent output regulation with ±1.5% voltage tolerance, 1.0% load regulation, and 70 mV noise/ripple, along with 1500 Vdc input-to-output isolation and continuous short-circuit protection with automatic recovery. Operating across -40°C to +85°C, the device is housed in a mini dual-in-line package for through-hole mounting and is certified to UL/cUL/IEC/EN 62368-1 safety standards. This combination of compact size, high isolation, and robust protection makes it ideal for battery-powered systems and industrial applications requiring reliable power conversion.
