DESCRIPTION
AYA00F05-L is an isolated DC-DC converter from the Artesyn AYA series designed for low-power applications in data communication, telecommunications, computer peripherals, industrial automation, and mobile battery-powered systems. The converter accepts an input voltage range of 4.5–10 Vdc and delivers a regulated 3.3 Vdc output at 0.4 A with 79% efficiency, providing 1.3 W of output power. It features comprehensive protection including overload protection at 170% of rated load with foldback and continuous short-circuit protection with automatic recovery, along with 1500 Vdc input-to-output isolation. The device operates reliably across -40°C to +85°C ambient temperature, incorporates a 100 kHz switching frequency, and meets UL/cUL/IEC/EN 62368-1 safety standards, making it suitable for demanding industrial and communication applications requiring compact, isolated power conversion.
