DESCRIPTION
The ERM01H18B is a 20W isolated DC/DC converter designed for railway applications, featuring an input voltage range of 9-36Vdc and a regulated 24Vdc output. It delivers a maximum output current of 0.833A with 87% efficiency at full load and operates with a switching frequency of 320 kHz. The converter includes comprehensive protection features including over-current protection at 150% of maximum load, over-voltage protection, and short-circuit protection with automatic recovery in hiccup mode. Output ripple is maintained at 150 mV peak-to-peak with a ±1% output voltage regulation accuracy. The device is housed in an industrial standard 2"×1" encapsulated package with 3000Vac I/O isolation and reinforced insulation, making it suitable for harsh railway environments where reliable power conversion and EMI compliance (EN55032/22 & FCC Part15 Class A) are essential.
