DESCRIPTION
The AR14-HZL-TT is an IC socket with machined pins designed for reliable integrated circuit insertion and retention. It features 4-finger beryllium copper contacts with gold flash plating on both pins and clips, providing excellent electrical conductivity and corrosion resistance. The socket is rated for 3A maximum per contact with a contact resistance below 4 mO and insulation resistance exceeding 1000 MO at 100V. The polyamide (glass-filled) insulator body meets UL94V-0 flammability standards and operates reliably at temperatures up to 125°C with a soldering temperature rating of 260°C for 10 seconds maximum. With a mechanical life of at least 200 cycles, this socket is ideal for applications requiring frequent IC insertion and removal in industrial control, telecommunications, and consumer electronics equipment.
