DESCRIPTION
The ASM400S-12 is a 400W high-density medical/industrial-grade open-frame power supply designed for Class 1 medical applications with universal AC input (90–264 VAC, 50/60 Hz). It delivers 12VDC nominal output with 33.3A continuous current under forced convection and 16.7A under natural convection, featuring integrated 5V auxiliary and 12V fan outputs for system support. The unit achieves up to 90% efficiency at 230VAC and incorporates advanced protection mechanisms including over-current, over-voltage, and over-temperature protection with automatic recovery. Certified to IEC 60601-1 3rd Edition and UL/cUL standards with 2 MOPP isolation, it is ideal for medical instrumentation, diagnostic equipment, and industrial systems requiring high power density (19 W/in³) and reliable performance across -20°C to +40°C operating temperatures.
