DESCRIPTION
The 1670A is a triple output DC power supply designed for general electronic servicing, school electronics labs, and hobbyist projects. It features one variable output ranging from 0-30V at 0-3A, along with two fixed outputs providing 12V ±5% at 500mA and 5V ±5% at 500mA. The supply offers excellent voltage regulation with line and load regulation of =0.05% + 10mV for the main output and =1% for fixed outputs, combined with low ripple and noise of =5mV rms in constant voltage mode. Metering is provided via 3-digit LCDs with 0.1V voltmeter resolution and 0.01A ammeter resolution, both with ±(1% reading + 2 digits) accuracy. The unit includes comprehensive protection features including current limiting, reverse polarity protection, overvoltage protection, and short circuit protection, making it ideal for reliable power delivery in educational and service environments.
