DESCRIPTION
The 830C is an 11,000-count dual-display handheld capacitance meter designed for rapid and accurate capacitance measurements in electronic component testing and troubleshooting. It features a primary display with 11,000-count resolution and a secondary 10,000-count display for simultaneous D and Q readings, with 0.5% basic accuracy across multiple measurement ranges from 1000.0 pF to 199.99 mF. The meter employs a constant-current charging and discharging method for capacitance measurement, operates at approximately 5 times per second for capacitances below 100 pF, and includes advanced functions such as tolerance sorting mode (1%, 5%, 10%, 20%), relative mode, data hold, Min/Max/Average recording, and Hi/Lo limit comparison with 25 sets of limits. Powered by a single 9V battery or included AC power adapter with approximately 70 hours of battery life, the 830C is ideal for capacitive component troubleshooting, electronic assembly, component sorting, and quality control applications, offering convenient portability with a tilt stand and protective rubber case.
