DESCRIPTION
The 11700A-BLK-1000 is a multi-conductor Category 5e DataTuff® twisted pair cable designed for industrial Ethernet and harsh environment applications. It features 4 bonded pairs of 24 AWG solid bare copper conductors with polyolefin insulation, a PVC inner jacket with rip cord, and an industrial-grade sunlight- and oil-resistant PVC outer jacket with sequential marking at two-foot intervals. The cable operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +75°C with a maximum conductor DC resistance of 9 Ohm/100 m at 20°C, a maximum delay of 510 ns/100 m, and a characteristic impedance of 100 ± 12 Ohms (unfitted) to 100 ± 10 Ohms (fitted). With a bulk cable weight of 52.087 Kg/Km, a minimum bend radius of 7.366 mm, and a maximum recommended pulling tension of 177.928 N, this cable is suitable for Gigabit Ethernet, 100BaseTX, 155ATM, 622ATM, and other high-speed data applications. It complies with Category 5e standards (TIA 568 C.2), UL CMR/CMX-Outdoor ratings, and RoHS directives, making it ideal for industrial control systems, EtherNet/IP™ networks, and outdoor installations requiring extra protection.
