DESCRIPTION
3105A-BLK-500 is an RS-485 shielded twisted pair cable designed for reliable data communication in harsh environments. It features 1 pair of 22 AWG (7x30) tinned copper conductors with Datalene® polyethylene foam insulation, providing a nominal characteristic impedance of 120 Ohm and 78% velocity of propagation. The cable incorporates dual shielding with 100% aluminum/polyester foil tape and 65% tinned copper braid, along with a 22 AWG drain wire for effective EMI protection. The PVC outer jacket has a nominal diameter of 0.294 in (7.47 mm) and offers sunlight and oil resistance for outdoor and industrial use. This cable is UL rated at 300V with CM and PLTC compliance, making it suitable for factory automation, IoT, video, audio, and process control applications.
