DESCRIPTION
3106A-BLK-500 is an RS-485 data communication cable designed for reliable signal transmission in harsh industrial environments. It features 1 pair of 22 AWG (7x30) tinned copper conductors with polyethylene foam insulation, overall foil shielding with 65% tinned copper braid, and a PVC jacket. The cable has a characteristic impedance of 120 Ohm, operates at 300 V (CM, PLTC rating), and supports a maximum current of 6 Amps per conductor at 30°C, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. The cable is rated for sunlight resistance and oil resistance (passes Oil Res II per UL 1277), making it suitable for outdoor installations and chemically challenging environments. It is compliant with UL 1685, IEC 60332-1-2, RoHS 2, and CPR Euroclass Eca standards, and is ideal for factory automation, IoT systems, and industrial data communication applications.
