8057 is a 34 AWG solid bare copper magnet wire with polyurethane/nylon (PUR/Nylon) dual insulation designed for solderable magnet wire applications. The wire features a nominal insulation diameter of 0.0072 inches with a nominal wall thickness of 0.001 inches, providing reliable electrical isolation and mechanical protection. It has a nominal conductor DC resistance of 261.3 Ohm/1000 ft, a maximum recommended current rating of 0.057 A in free air at 30°C, and a minimum breakdown voltage of 1350 V at room temperature. The wire operates at a non-UL temperature rating of 130°C and offers a minimum bend radius of 0.03 inches with 144 turns per linear inch. This magnet wire is ideal for precision electromagnetic coil winding in applications requiring solderable connections, such as transformers, inductors, and relay coils, and complies with military standard JW-1177/9.
