DESCRIPTION

The 1505ABHD3 is a 6 GHz RG-59 BNC male crimp connector designed for high-definition video transmission and digital video applications. This 3-piece connector features a nominal characteristic impedance of 75 Ohm and supports HD-SDI standards including SMPTE 2080-1 and SMPTE 424M protocols at data rates up to 6 Gb/s for UHDTV and 1080P HD-SDI applications. The connector is constructed with brass bodies and nuts (nickel-plated) and gold-plated brass contacts, with PTFE insulation, ensuring reliable signal integrity across the frequency range of 5 MHz to 6 GHz. Return loss performance meets SMPTE 2001-1 specifications, with minimum return loss of 15 dB at 5–1485 MHz, 10 dB at 1485–3000 MHz, and 7 dB at 3000–6000 MHz. The connector is suitable for professional broadcast, video distribution, and digital video systems where high-frequency performance and signal fidelity are critical.
