DESCRIPTION

8132FO-060-500 is a multi-conductor low capacitance computer cable designed for EIA RS-232/485 data communication applications. It features 2 twisted pairs of 28 AWG stranded (7x36) tinned copper conductors with Datalene® foam polyethylene insulation, providing low dielectric constant for high-speed, low distortion data handling. The cable includes an overall Beldfoil® shield with 100% coverage and a 28 AWG stranded TC drain wire, enclosed in a PVC jacket with an overall nominal diameter of 0.215 inches. With a characteristic impedance of 120 Ohms and velocity of propagation of 78%, this cable is suitable for reliable data transmission in industrial and commercial environments operating from -30°C to +80°C.
