DESCRIPTION

The 8241-BLK-500 is an RG59 analog video coaxial cable designed for professional video transmission applications. It features a 23 AWG solid bare copper-covered steel (BCCS) conductor with polyethylene insulation and a 95% bare copper braid shield, all enclosed in a PVC jacket with a nominal outer diameter of 0.24 inches. The cable exhibits a characteristic impedance of 75 ohms, a nominal capacitance of 20.5 pF/ft, and an inductance of 0.131 µH/ft, with insertion loss ranging from 0.6 dB/100ft at 1 MHz to 12 dB/100ft at 1000 MHz. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor aerial installations (black color only when supported by messenger wire), operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +75°C, and complies with UL CM standards and RG59/U specifications.
