DESCRIPTION
The 8760-CHR-500 is a multi-conductor shielded twisted pair cable designed for reliable signal transmission in industrial and commercial applications. It features 18 AWG stranded (16x30) tinned copper conductors with polyethylene insulation, a twisted pair configuration, and an overall Beldfoil shield providing 100% coverage with a 20 AWG stranded tinned copper drain wire. The cable operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C with a UL temperature rating of 60°C (UL AWM Style 2092), and supports a maximum operating voltage of 300 V RMS. With a characteristic impedance of 57 ohms, a lay length of 2.500 inches (4.8 twists per foot), and a maximum recommended current of 5.2 amps per conductor at 25°C, this cable is ideal for control systems, instrumentation, and data communication where electromagnetic interference rejection and signal fidelity are essential.
