DESCRIPTION

8916-WHT-100 is a low-temperature plastic lead wire featuring 14 AWG (41x30 stranding) tinned copper conductor with PVC insulation, designed for interconnection circuits and internal wiring applications. The wire is rated for 600V RMS at 105°C maximum temperature with an operating range of -30°C to +105°C, and complies with UL AWM Styles 1015 and 1230, CSA Type AWM I A/B or TEW standards. The insulation has a nominal diameter of 0.138 inches with a nominal wall thickness of 0.033 inches, and the conductor exhibits a nominal DC resistance of 2.7 Ohm/1000ft with a maximum recommended current of 39A in free air at 30°C ambient. This wire is suitable for internal wiring of computer and electronic equipment, appliances, and machine tool applications, offering reliable performance in demanding electrical environments with full RoHS and EU compliance.
