DESCRIPTION
The 1140-471K-RC is a high-current choke inductor designed for demanding power conversion and filtering applications. It features an inductance of 470 µH (±10%) at 1 kHz with a maximum DC resistance of 0.114 O, enabling efficient energy storage and current smoothing in high-current circuits. The component utilizes an epoxy-coated ferrite bobbin core with VW-1 rated shrink tubing, providing robust mechanical and electrical protection. With a rated current capacity of 4.9 A (Series A) and saturation current of 9.5 A, it delivers very high current handling capability while maintaining low losses. The choke operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C and features self-leaded construction with fixed lead spacing and a center hole for mechanical mounting. These characteristics make it ideal for switching power supplies, DC-DC converters, and other applications requiring high-current filtering and inductance with minimal thermal rise.
