DESCRIPTION
The 2027-07-SMLF is a precision gas discharge tube (GDT) surge protector designed for compact surface-mount applications requiring reliable overvoltage protection. This 2-electrode device features a DC sparkover voltage of 75 V (±20%) at 100 V/s and impulse sparkover voltages of 300 V at 100 V/µs and 500 V at 1000 V/µs, providing fast response to transient surges. The device measures 8 mm diameter by 6 mm in length and is compatible with automated pick-and-place assembly systems, offering high surge current rating with low capacitance (< 1 pF at 1 MHz) and minimal insertion loss. It operates reliably across -55°C to +125°C and is UL recognized (File E153537), making it ideal for telecommunications, industrial electronics, commercial electronics, and aircraft/military applications where compact, high-performance surge protection is essential.
