DESCRIPTION
The 2035-25-SM-RPLF is a miniature 2-pole gas discharge tube (GDT) designed for overvoltage and surge protection in telecommunications, industrial, commercial, consumer, and automotive electronics. This device features a 5 mm diameter and 4 mm length with a DC sparkover voltage of 250 V (±15%) at 100 V/s, and impulse sparkover ratings of 475 V at 100 V/µs and 625 V at 1000 V/µs. The tube exhibits high surge current capability with ratings up to 10,000 A (8/20 µs), stable breakdown characteristics throughout its operational life, and an insulation resistance exceeding 10¹° O. Operating over a temperature range of -55°C to +85°C with a glow voltage of approximately 70 V at 10 mA and arc voltage of approximately 10 V at 1 A, this UL-recognized component provides reliable protection against transient overvoltages while maintaining low capacitance below 1 pF. The device is ideal for protecting sensitive circuits in power distribution systems, signal lines, and communication networks where fast response and high reliability are essential.
