DESCRIPTION

The 3048L-5-102 is a compact linear motion potentiometer designed for precise position sensing and control in AC or DC applications. It features infinite resolution with independent linearity of ±5%, a resistance value of 1K to 50K ohms (±20%), and an electrical travel range of 0.2 to 0.5 inches (5.08 to 12.70 mm). The device operates over a wide temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with a temperature coefficient of 1000 PPM/°C, and offers a power rating of 0.12 to 0.25 watts depending on the range. With negligible backlash, a rated life of 500,000 cycles, and flexible wire leads, this potentiometer is ideal for instrumentation, automation, and control systems requiring economical, long-life position feedback.
