DESCRIPTION
The 3400S-1-101L is a precision potentiometer manufactured by Bourns, designed for applications requiring high accuracy and excellent wiper stability in a bushing-mount configuration. It features a 10 kO resistance value with ±3% total resistance tolerance, ±0.15% independent linearity, and a 3600° effective electrical angle with +4°, -0° tolerance. The device delivers exceptional mechanical performance with a minimum stop strength of 53 N-cm (75 oz.-in.), low starting and running torque of 0.35 N-cm maximum, and minimal shaft runout of 0.08 mm T.I.R. Operating over a temperature range of +1°C to +125°C with a temperature coefficient of ±20 ppm/°C, the potentiometer maintains ±2% maximum total resistance shift under load life conditions and supports 2,000,000 shaft revolutions with ±5% maximum resistance shift.
