DESCRIPTION
The 3549S-1AA-503A is a 10-turn precision potentiometer featuring a wirewound element designed for high-accuracy applications requiring precise rotational control. It offers a standard resistance of 50 kO with ±3% total resistance tolerance and ±0.2% independent linearity, with an optional maximum practical linearity of ±0.1%. The device provides an effective electrical angle of 3600° ±10°, -0° with a mechanical angle of 3600° ±10°, -0°, and features high rotational life with low starting and running torque of 0.5 N-cm (0.7 oz-in.) maximum. The potentiometer is RoHS compliant, suitable for use under side load conditions, and designed for HMI and MMI applications, with optional dual gang and servo mount configurations available. Its robust construction includes gold-plated solder lugs, a maximum backlash of 1.0°, and stop strength of 53 N-cm (75 oz-in.) minimum, making it ideal for instrumentation, control systems, and precision measurement equipment.
