DESCRIPTION
The 3852C-282-103AL is a single-turn 3/4" diameter panel control potentiometer manufactured by Bourns with a cermet resistive element and linear taper (±10% tolerance). This model features a 10 kO resistance value and is configured with a 7/8" (22.20 mm) long shaft with 1/4" (6.35 mm) diameter, paired with a plain 1/4" bushing. The potentiometer operates with a mechanical angle of 280° and exhibits low starting and running torque of 0.21 to 4.23 N-cm (0.3 to 6.0 oz.-in.) for C-type bushings. It is designed for minimal depth panel mounting with solder lug terminals and is RoHS compliant. This potentiometer is commonly used in audio equipment, instrumentation, and control applications where reliable single-turn adjustment and compact form factor are required.
