5.0SMDJ60A is a unidirectional transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. It features a peak pulse power dissipation of 5000 watts at 1 ms pulse width, a working peak reverse voltage (VRWM) of 60 V, and a breakdown voltage range of 66.7 V to 73.7 V. The device offers a maximum clamping voltage of 96.8 V and a peak pulse current of 51.7 A, with typical fast response times less than 1.0 ps. Housed in a compact SMC (DO-214AB) surface mount package, this RoHS compliant and halogen-free TVS diode operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C, making it suitable for demanding circuit protection applications.
