DESCRIPTION

CGA0603MLC-12E is a ChipGuard Automotive MLC Series ESD protector designed for automotive circuits requiring robust electrostatic discharge protection. This bidirectional device features extremely low capacitance of 0.2 pF typical at 1 MHz and 1 Vrms, with a response time of less than 1 ns to ESD strikes, making it ideal for protecting high-speed digital interfaces. The device is rated for a DC working voltage of 12 V and provides IEC 61000-4-2 Level 4 ESD protection with multi-strike capability and low leakage current. It is fully AEC-Q200 qualified and RoHS compliant, with an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. Common applications include camera links, GPS antennas, USB 3.0 interfaces, touchscreen controllers, and high-speed communications buses where fast ESD response and minimal signal degradation are critical.
