DESCRIPTION
CSM2F-6918-L050J01 is an automotive-grade current sense resistor designed for high-current sensing applications in hybrid and electric vehicles, battery management systems, bus bars, welding equipment, and frequency converters. The device features a 50 µO resistance with ±5% tolerance, delivering up to 36 W permanent power at 70 °C terminal temperature, and operates reliably across -40 °C to +170 °C. It incorporates tinned terminals with a maximum fastening torque of 10 Nm, a low thermal EMF of less than 0.25 µV/K, and a temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) below 50 ppm/°C on the resistive alloy. The product is AEC-Q200 and RoHS compliant, with ESD classification Level 6 (=25,000 V air discharge), making it suitable for demanding automotive and industrial environments requiring precision current measurement and high reliability.
