DESCRIPTION
CSM2F-8518-L050J01 is an automotive-grade current sense resistor with tinned terminals designed for high-precision current measurement in demanding applications. It features a resistance of 50 µO with ±5% tolerance, a permanent power rating of 36 W at 70°C, and operates reliably across a wide temperature range of -40°C to +170°C. The resistor exhibits excellent thermal stability with a temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) of ±150 ppm/°C on test points and <50 ppm/°C for the resistance alloy, combined with low thermal EMF of <0.25 µV/K. It is AEC-Q200 and RoHS compliant with a maximum fastening torque of 10 Nm, making it ideal for battery management systems, bus bar current sensing, welding equipment, and frequency converter applications where reliability and accuracy are critical.
