DESCRIPTION
GMOV-14D151K is a 14 mm hybrid protection component that combines Bourns' patented GDT technology with FLAT technology and a Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) to provide high-performance surge protection. The device features a maximum operating voltage (MCOV) of 150 V RMS with maximum leakage of 200 µA at MCOV, a GDT DC breakdown voltage of 240 V, and a clamp current of 950 mA. It delivers 420 mA nominal current and 84 J energy absorption in an 8/20 µs surge event, with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The hybrid design achieves very low leakage and low capacitance while maintaining long-term reliability, making it ideal for AC line protection, power supplies, solar inverters, and other critical power distribution applications requiring UL 1449 compliance.
