DESCRIPTION

The MF-RX160-AP is a PTC resettable fuse from Bourns' MF-RX Series, engineered to provide automatic overcurrent protection with automatic recovery capability. This radial leaded device features a maximum voltage rating of 60 V and maximum current rating of 40 A, with a hold current (Ihold) of 1.35 A at 23°C and a trip current (Itrip) of 2.70 A. The device exhibits an initial resistance of 0.12 O (minimum) to 0.19 O (maximum) at 23°C, with a post-trip resistance of 0.30 O and a maximum time to trip of 6.75 seconds at 5 times the hold current. The component is constructed with cured, flame-retardant epoxy polymer insulation meeting UL 94V-0 requirements, and features Sn/Cu plated leads with a diameter of 0.81 mm. It is RoHS compliant and halogen-free, making it suitable for applications requiring circuit protection in consumer electronics, industrial equipment, and telecommunications systems where automatic reset functionality is advantageous.
