DESCRIPTION
MOV-07D431KTR is a 7 mm radial leaded metal oxide varistor designed to protect against overvoltage transients such as lightning, power contact, and power induction. This device features a nominal varistor voltage of 430 V with a maximum continuous voltage rating of 275 V r.m.s. (350 V d.c.), and delivers a maximum peak current of 28 A at 8/20 µs pulse with a maximum energy absorption of 1200 J. The varistor exhibits fast response times of 10–25 ns and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C with a varistor voltage temperature coefficient of 0.1 %/°C typical. These characteristics make it ideal for protecting power supplies, power systems, line voltage applications, telecom systems, and white goods/appliances from transient overvoltage events.
