DESCRIPTION

MOV-07D821KTR is a 7 mm radial leaded metal oxide varistor designed to protect against overvoltage transients such as lightning, power contact, and power induction. The device features a nominal varistor voltage of 820 V with a maximum continuous voltage rating of 510 V RMS and 675 V DC, delivering a maximum peak current of 40 A (8/20 µs) and maximum energy absorption of 1200 J. It exhibits fast response time of 10–25 ns, high current handling capability, and bidirectional surge protection with a varistor voltage tolerance of ±10%. The MOV-07D821KTR is ideal for protecting power supplies, power systems, line voltage circuits, telecom systems, and white goods/appliances from transient faults up to rated limits, and is RoHS compliant with UL 1449 agency listing.
