DESCRIPTION
MOV-14D511K is a 14 mm radial leaded metal oxide varistor designed to protect against overvoltage transients such as lightning, power contact, and power induction. The device features a nominal varistor voltage of 510 V with a maximum continuous voltage rating of 320 V (r.m.s.), a maximum peak current of 561 A at class current, and a maximum peak energy absorption of 845 J (8/20 µs waveform). It exhibits fast response time of 10–25 ns and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C. The varistor is bidirectional, RoHS compliant, and complies with UL 1449 standards, making it suitable for power supplies, power systems, line voltage protection, telecom systems, and white goods applications.
