DESCRIPTION
The PDV30-21D-202B is an open frame slide potentiometer from Bourns designed for audio and general-purpose applications requiring variable resistance control. This single-gang unit features a 30 mm travel distance with no center detent, a 2 kO linear taper resistance with ±20% tolerance, and vertical pin mounting (P-type). The potentiometer operates over a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C with a maximum operating voltage of 200 VAC for linear applications and 150 VAC for audio applications, delivering a power rating of 0.1 watt for linear and 0.05 watt for audio configurations. It exhibits low sliding noise of 47 mV maximum and provides 10,000 cycles of sliding life with an operating force range of 20 to 300 g-cm. The PDV30-21D-202B is ideal for audio/TV sets, car radios, amplifiers, mixers, synthesizers, and consumer electronics where compact, reliable volume or tone control is required.
