DESCRIPTION
The PEC16-4215F-S0024 is a 16 mm incremental encoder that features an integrated SPST momentary push switch. It provides a 2-bit quadrature output with a resolution of 24 pulses per 360° rotation and includes 24 mechanical detents for tactile feedback. This encoder has a contact rating of 1 mA at 5 VDC, a rotational life of at least 100,000 cycles, and operates over a temperature range of -30 °C to +70 °C. The integrated switch is rated for 10 mA at 5 VDC with a life of 20,000 cycles. Its compact and reliable design makes it ideal for level control, tuning, and timer settings in audio-visual equipment, consumer appliances, and communications equipment.
